Tuesday 20 September | Proposal due at or before the start of class. This should be one or two sentences describing the chosen topic. (on paper) |
Thursday 13 October | Outline of paper due at or before the start of class. It should
contain most or all of the ideas that will appear in the final paper. Include references. Any reasonable style is OK. I really prefer Latex, which can automatically create a bibliography, if you set it up properly (look up BiBTeX). |
Thursday 10 November | Complete draft of paper due at or before the start of class. This should be in 12 point \documentclass[12pt]{article} and include the line \renewcommand{\baselinestretch}{1.5} |
Tuesday 22 November | Peer Review. In class, with a participation grade. Come into class having read the paper and be ready for a lively discussion in yourpeer-review grroup. |
Friday 9 December | Final paper due (medthod of submission Turnitin.com and hard copy in Frank's mailbox). This must be a minimum of 3000 words, typeset in Latex with 12 point type,and with interline spacing. The length requirement is to help you have enough space to properly tell the story you intend. The grade will be based on mechanics, presentation, and content. |
