Coamoeba of a real line in 3-space

    The line in (C*)3 with real parametrization,
t --> (t+1, t, t-3),
has a two-dimensional coamoeba with boundary consisting of four lines. However, the real points of the line are mapped to the corners of this figure, with the rest of the four boundary lines not lying in the coamoeba.
    Each piece is the image of one of the half-planes (upper or lower), and the image under any coordinate projection is the two triangles that we saw of a line in the plane.
