Homework Assignments
The plain ASCII files provided (HW##.tex) are here for you to use as you wish.
If you do use them for your own homework, please edit the header and put in your own information.
Please submit physical copies of your work; if handwritten, do so neatly and on only
one side of the paper with ample margins.
- Assignment 2: LaTeX source code. Due 3 September at the start of class.
- Assignment 1: LaTeX source code. Due 27 August at the start of class.
- Assignment 0: Read the course page, the
course syllabus, sign up on Piazza and send a Frank Sottile a
private post on Piazza that you have read and understood the syllabus and course homepage and
pledge to abide by the course rules as detailed in those documents.
Please also answer the following questions:
(1) What is your favourite bit of mathematics?
(2) What previous advanced math classes have you had?
(3) What do you hope to get out of this course?
(4) What is your T-shirt size?
(5) Is there anything else that you want to tell me (that is relevant to the course)?
